WK 5 DAY 3 - THERE IS NOTHING AS TERRIBLE AS STAGNATION

There is nothing as terrible as stagnation... it is the beginning of regression. Even stagnant water, becomes dirty and poisonous after a while. Not growing yourself does make you stay in a position and after a while you start moving backwards.

You don't go for courses, don't read, don't go for seminars or courses, after a while you are skipped for promotion, then after fired... see regression.

Is it business? you don't upgrade your products and service to meet with the changing times, first you lose customers, then they stop  coming all together...  see regression.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6)... YLT says cut off are my people for lack of knowledge; cut of from what? well I believe you are cut of from being fruitful and multiplying. Yep!!!! see God blesses what you have, so the way you present yourself to him is the capacity to which He will bless you. Let me break it down, you want your dream job -  300k with bonus, apartment, car, laptop, phone and travel benefits; the qualification is Degree and 2 years experience, you submit your cv but no reply why? well,  someone out there has 2 degrees, 2 years experience, IT knowledge, speaks French, is a member of some random institutes etc... it makes the difference.

Young and single is the time to do all you can get done. Get that certificate, go for that seminar, read those books, why??? Because you need to go into marriage been the most equipped help mate ever. I love Myles Munroe's teaching where he said, "BE COMPLETE, which means to be UNIQUE, SEPARATE and WHOLE". So that when the eventualities come, you can be the strength, support and wisdom he needs. Pastor Adefarasin said when he was going through issues his wife was there and out of her belly flowed rivers of living waters that watered him... wow!!! wow!!! wow!!! and I am sure she did not become who she is by sitting on her two hands doing nothing.

Make yourself ready for any eventuality. Learn that hand work, Learn that Microsoft app, learn in advance; learn about marriage, kids, business, ministry, retirement, finances.

I know where I am headed in life and not be honest what I have is not enough to take me for the first kilometer. So what do I do, I work at becoming the best me I can be in every area of my life. It isn't always easy, but you have to be determined to make it work.

I am not going to sit back and watch life pass me by till I become obsolete. No!!! I will work at gaining more knowledge and applying that knowledge till I become wise. I will ask questions and I will read. I refuse to be stagnant!
